The Somali Women Journalists Organization (SWJO) is pleased to publish its Annual Report 2024–2025, presenting key achievements, lessons learned, and institutional developments over the past year.
The report documents SWJO’s work to advance:
- Gender balance in media content
- Women’s leadership and decision-making in journalism
- Safer and more inclusive media workplaces
- Evidence-based advocacy through monitoring and institutional engagement
Throughout 2024–2025, SWJO implemented initiatives in partnership with International Media Support (IMS), UNESCO, and UNTMIS, working across multiple regions of Somalia to promote ethical, inclusive, and professional journalism.
